PORT DOVER, Ont. — Tens of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts have descended on the lakeside town of Port Dover today to celebrate Friday the 13th.
For the past 29 years, riders from Ontario, elsewhere in Canada and the United States have been making the journey to the southern Ontario town on the Lake Erie shoreline.
It’s the 50th edition of the popular event.
Organizers are hoping to draw more than 100,000 people for today’s festivities.
Police are asking those heading to the area to use caution on highways leading to Port Dover.
