Additional Inlay Colours and Patterns; 1,300 Possible Combinations Now Offered

Five new patterns and four new inlays have been added to the HD Custom Seat Program, that allows the rider to design a leather seat that is hand-built to their specs. The program now includes two seat styles, 13 stitching patterns, 14 simulated exotic leather inlays, and 10 thread colours –  1,300 possible combinations.

The new patterns are Swept, Spade, Dark Angel, Number One Skull, and Torn. The new inlay choices are Pink Gator, Tan Gator, Purple Gator, and Tan Cowhide.

The custom designs are available for the solo Brawler^® seat (part number 52246-08) or the two-up Sidekick^® seat (part number 52193-08) and are designed to fit many 2006-later Dyna^®, Softail^®, and Touring models. Each features a hand-laid fibreglass seat pan with a soft, felt-finish bottom that is scratch free. The seating surface is genuine leather, and the leather inlay options have a simulated exotic skin pattern. Each seat also has an embroidered Bar & Shield logo.

The design process begins at the Custom Seat Program website, www.harley-davidson.com/customseat, where on-screen prompts help the Customer to select a seat style, stitching pattern, inlay colour, and stitching colour options. When the design is complete, the Customer takes a print-out of the seat design details to a local Harley-Davidson^® Retailer, who will submit the custom seat order. The standard lead time for seat delivery is three weeks.
