Okanagan Trail Riders Association – Over the Hump Nights
Wednesday nights are a blast up at the Bear Creek trails.
I had a great opportunity to hang out with Terry from Yamaha and he took me out for a bit of a spin on some crazy single track routes.
Who knew you had to be in such good shape to ride a dirtbike…I was sore Thursday…I was really really sore Friday.
The practice was a great warm up for the MX – Ride for the Cure that I did half a week later at the Bear Creek MX track.

OHV monitors trails to ensure riders are using spark arresters, and ‘stealth’ mufflers.
The system is designed to provide quality trails for motorcycles and ATV’s less than 50” in width.
It will eventually provide loop trails identified by difficulty level (Green, Blue, Black) and user group.
Proceeds from the LCMC hosted fundraiser will go directly to the development of new trails from the main trail system towards La Casa.
Future plans also include mountain bike trails close to La Casa.

Administered by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, & the Arts, and the Okanagan Trail Riders Association, the 35,000-hectare site is the largest managed recreation site in British Columbia.
It includes many panoramic lookouts over Lake Okanagan and some of the most beautiful riding trails in BC.
