Riding with Rotary “End Polio Now” campaign.

The Rotary Clubs of Kelowna Capri and Lake Country have partnered to host this year’s second annual motorcycle rally tomorrow.

This Year’s Ride to the Rock will start at 9:00 AM for registration at the Kelowna Curling Club (coffee will be available) located at Recreation Avenue in Kelowna.

The registration fee to participate is $25 plus a donation per rider.

Proceeds from Ride to the Rock will support Rotary’s End Polio Now  - the last hurdle campaign.

Registration fee includes: Ride to the Rock kit and a BBQ dinner on Saturday evening.  Join us for a fun filled weekend – all motorcycle riders welcome

Riders are encourage to use Richter Street for departure and access to the Kelowna Curling Club, as Ellis Street and the north side of Recreation Avenue are closed for the Apple Triathlon.

Riding through beautiful Okanagan Valley, the Ride to the Rock will provide a day long journey that twists through sub-alpine hills, along vineyard and orchard vistas skirting the beautiful valley bottom lakes.

The ride starting at the Kelowna Curling club and will take motorcycle riders through the Okanagan Valley to the Ridge Brew Pub in Osoyoos, over to Rock Creek, through Beaverdel and back to Kelowna on scenic Hwy 33.

At day’s end, riders and friends will finish back at the Kelowna Curling Club to relax to an informal dinner and an evening of fellowship the Kelowna Capri and Lake Country Rotary club members. A poker run with a $1,000 top prize will provide for additional activities in the day’s schedule.
